My students need more organization in our classroom. We need a laminator to protect task cards and centers. We also need a rolling cart to keep everything organized.
I teach 4th grade reading in Alabaster, Alabama. My students come from various backgrounds and living situations, but share the common characteristic of a love of learning.
I teach 3 classes of reading a day, and work with children on various reading levels and from varied backgrounds.
Accommodating all children and teaching them where they are, while striving to make gains is my top priority.
I love incorporating technology into reading and language. This allows students to read about things that interest them, while keeping them accountable.
My Project
A new laminator will allow me to laminate and protect paper items that are used time and time again. This will save me precious time not having to remake class centers and activities. Having a rolling cart will help keep supplies neat and organized. We will also use the vinyl to label everything.
I also like to reward students with small prizes for positive behaviors.
The gumball machine will give me a fun way to display and distribute mini-erasers. The straw dispenser will be used to hold fun pencils for rewards.
I can't wait to see my students use and enjoy these things!
