I will be co-teaching 25 amazing second-grade students, with and without special needs, who would love your help! Our school is a Title I school, located in an area of New York where there is high poverty. Any and all help would be truly beneficial to each individual!
Free breakfast and lunch are provided for students at our school.

My Project
It's amazing where a tap of a finger can bring you! Students can explore a foreign country. Don't know what a sloth looks like? Take a look on the iPad! The possibilities are endless with just a tap of a finger! The iPad will be used in all subjects from reading to science. We will download educational apps that will help us in a variety of ways from exploring the deep ocean to finding the correct pronunciation of a word. Some of the apps that I would like to download will build student reading comprehension skills in an engaging way.
This iPad can bring each and every lesson to life, and with a tap of a finger, my students will be more engaged.
The same lesson can be taught to different learners in different ways utilizing the iPad. It can also be customized to cater to each child's learning needs. There are thousands of educational apps that can be used across ALL content areas reaching out to ALL students. Throughout the day, I know that this iPad will be extremely functional and will be beneficial for us (it'll be fun, too)!
