I have a class full of eager learners. I have kiddos who are learning their letters and sounds and kiddos reading at a 4th-grade level, and my most important job is to make sure they are all engaged. It doesn't matter what skills or what level my students come to me with; they will learn something new every day.
My students love learning!
They are excited every morning to find out what's on the schedule for today, and they can't wait to hear how I plan to teach it.
My Project
I have been so incredibly lucky to get multiple donors chooses funded that included Ipads. Because of this I am getting closer and closer to having an entire class set of Ipads for my class! I think it would be so incredible to be able to have one per kiddo that could be set up just for them and that they could grab when they have any time left over in class.
Because of this, I will continue to put up projects and if they get funded, we get closer to our goal!!
My students use Ipads for literacy by using multiple games that help them identify words and letters. We use Ipads for Math to learn our numbers and basic skills. AND we use Ipads for fun! I always put a few games on the Ipads and they can buy them with the sparklers they earn in class as an incentive to continue being amazing!! These Ipads make us all a little bit happier...and smarter each day!!
I also always include heavy duty cases because we are 5 and 6...and I would be more surprised if they didn't get dropped daily! These cases make dropping no big deal!!!
