My Students

My new Fourth Grade classroom is a place for challenging activities, building independence, and collaboration. Students spend this year using their reading skills to grow their comprehension and love for reading! They continue learning skills to be independent readers, increase responsibility, and the importance of collaboration. In doing so, they find a love for reading and lifelong learning!

This year is my first year in Fourth Grade and I want to ensure students have the best experience possible!

I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade! We have been integrating technology into our classroom as much as possible this year and my class is eager to use it more in our classroom!

My Project

I am requesting one iPad for our classroom! Having an iPad in our classroom will give students the opportunity to use apps that directly correlate to our standards in all subject areas. Students will be able to use our iPad to create QR bar codes, figurative language memes, and other engaging activities to reinforce their learning! I have watched students use technology in the classroom and become instantly engaged! Connecting an iPad to the projector will also allow me to show learning videos, music for transitions and work time, and so much more for our class.

By having an iPad that is dedicated to our classroom students will have more opportunities that will enhance our learning through technology!
