Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students work hard, stay focused, and most importantly demonstrate excellence in the classroom. Each one of my students has their own special gifts and talents that they share with the class, making the group very dynamic.

My goal is to provide a comfortable, safe, and inviting classroom where students can be successful.

As a first year teacher, I have learned a lot from my students. The most important thing is that my students care and deserve the best environment possible.

My Project

With these items added to my classroom, my students will have the opportunity to work wherever they want. Instead of only working at their desks during group work, students will be able to go elsewhere in the classroom. I also like to invite my students up to the front of the board during instruction. These items will allow students to learn while education occurs.

In my classroom, working in groups and collaborating is encouraged daily.

With these items, students will be able to collaborate and not be interrupted by other groups. Students will be in groups scattered throughout the classroom.
