I have 116 students who come from diverse backgrounds. We are from a high poverty rate area. Many of the students are on our free and reduced meal program.
These students are the future leaders; we need to ensure they have every opportunity to be successful.
They work hard and appreciate their education. Investing in their future is an investment for the great things they will accomplish to better our society. They appreciate your support. Thank you so much.
My Project
This project will allow my students the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of modern fiction and nonfiction experience. Giving the gift of reading through a variety of amazing books, can open the eyes to the many students and provide an excellent educational opportunity.
Reading is so imperative for so many reasons.
It allows students to be exposed to so many cultures and ideas and expand their thoughts and views on many topics. It is important to bring new books into the curriculum and add modern books that will someday become classics. Bringing in these books will show students how truly incredible books can be.
