Help me give my students access to a class printer/scanner so that they can treasure copies of their hard work; share their efforts with others, and when needed, learn more effectively from printed information.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students love to hold onto and be able to share copies of their creative work, thoughts and ideas. However, much of today's work is stored on their chromebooks, and they have very limited access to printing resources. A classroom printer and scanner would enable them be able to instantly share their work.
Additionally, for my students with learning challenges, reading comprehension from a paper rather than off a screen better facilitates comprehension and also speeds up the reading process.
Then, being able to scan completed products can streamline later progress for me to share with them and parents. It can also help save on resources and time.
