Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are entertaining, bright, and eager to learn! They are always eager to participate and help one another when needed. Each child brings something special to the classroom whether it is compassion for their peers or their willingness to help a friend.

My students are very kind to one another and try their best to work as a team.

We are working towards building a family-like environment, and I see each one of them as my own! It is my goal to make sure that they have everything they need to be academically successful and truly understand the power of education!

My Project

The headphones in this project will help my students by allowing them to focus on whatever computer oriented, supplemental task that they are completing. Whether it is strengthening literacy skills on Lexia or practicing fact fluency on MobyMax, they enjoy their computer time. Quality headphones for our four classroom computers would allow my students to do their best work and focus. My students are working very hard towards accomplishing their individual goals and the purchase of these headphones would make such an improvement.

This project also includes a class subscription to TIME for Kids.

I would love for my students to have the accessibility and opportunity to read real world, non-fiction topics that still interest them while building reading comprehension and critical-thinking skills.
