My students need 20 headphones with microphones to accomplish the requirement of using the English Language Learning program known as Imagine Learning. My students work hard to learn English but need the right tools to accomplish this.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We may live in a city that is considered the most dangerous city in the United States but that is not who we are as individuals. We want to prove that we can achieve and be successful. We come from different countries trying to become part of this new world. All we ask is to be given the opportunity to succeed. Become part of the society that shows us that we matter.
Living in a dangerous city is not what determines what we will become.
The students want to achieve and be successful. Our daily lives are full of danger but we come to school ready to learn and work hard to beat that danger. Give us a chance to be what we know we can be, SUCCESSFUL!
My Project
One area my students struggle the most with is learning English. Having taught students from other countries and being an ELL student myself, I know first hand how nerve wracking it is to try to overcome learning a new language and having the confidence to speak to native peers. I'm requesting headphones so that I can set up Imagine Learning. Students will be able to learn English using the Imagine Learning Program.
In my classroom, we practice English daily using cooperative learning strategies.
The addition of technology would give my students a much needed boost to learn English. Students who are confident in their English abilities will be ready to face the challenges of higher education and the workplace.
