My Students

My first graders are starting to learn to read. They have a passion for learning. I love to watch them connect with places and events through stories and learning games on-line using their laptops and tablets

Help my students reading skills soar!

They love using our laptops and tablets to further their reading skills. With headphones my students can work independently. Technology has made such a difference in their learning. I am so happy through your help to further their learning!

My Project

My class currently has twenty-two students in it. We are an active bunch with lots of different learning styles and abilities. Technology has enabled my students to explore new topics, bring fairy tales to life, and engage them in games and other activities that improve their reading skills. My students love reading stories on EPIC , work on skills on "Starfall", and practice reading stories from Benchmark Advance.

These headphones will allow my students to work independently on reading projects that require the use of a computer.

Since there are various ability levels in the class, it helps if students work on different assignments at the same time. With the use of the headphones they will be able to focus on their own learning and concentrate better.
