I have the privilege to teach 3, 4, and 5 year-olds in two half day sessions. These young learners are so energetic, thoughtful, curious and excited to learn each day they come to school.
I love to engage these children actively in many different ways to meet their varied learning styles.
As little learners, they love to sing, dance and play games.
As a state funded preschool for all program, many of my students come from low income backgrounds and some have experienced trauma.
My Project
An Apple iPad will help students explore different learning applications in a small group setting. Students need a variety of materials in the classroom that help reach different modes of learning.
Visual and auditory learners will benefit from hands on exploration of iPad applications that speak to them.
They will also be able to take their own photos of their great creations to share with classmates and family.
As their teacher, I will be able to use the iPad to complete assessments with an online application. I will photograph and organize all of my students' projects and save portfolio information to share with families.
