My Students

My students are all from inner city Boston and many come from low income families. My classroom is unique in that it is an inclusion classroom where there are both students with and without disabilities. The disabilities range from developmental delays to autism.

My students have a curiosity and love for learning!

They love to read, work on math and engage in cooperative learning. From the minute they walk into the classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me.

My Project

In an inclusion classroom where technology is key, a faster working computer would not only increase student engagement but also learning.

As often as possible, we love to use the internet, our SmartBoard, Google slides and other interactive applications.

This work is difficult with a computer that needs constant rebooting. This slows down student interest and cuts learning time. A faster computer would ebable me to put the world at their fingertips. It would allow faster search and smoother learning experience. A new laptop would truly be a gift for my students and one that can be used for years to come!
