This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My children are thrilled whenever a new piece of technology enters our classroom. We are very lucky to have a few Chromebooks. But what would have a tremendous impact would be an Apple MacBook Pro at our young and eager fingertips.

Imagine a group of children deep in the creative process bringing healthy habits in their lives.

The MacBook adds another layer of creativity. It will do tasks such as making 3D titles in Final Cut. The graphics are amazing, which means we will be writing, programming, and producing many of our favorite fairy tales, such as Little Red Riding Hood. Who wouldn't be fascinated by a 3D wolf?

The MacBook that would greatly benefit my students is one where the screen is large, so all students can view their fellow students' work. I would need a computer that can do many tricks, including slide shows and charts. The MacBook is built to withstand the use of many little hands, therefore I will not have to call help desks all the time to repair the computer.

Please make it possible for my awesome and creative students to become tech-savvy. The MacBook will achieve this goal, as well as make a small group of kids in the Bronx extremely happy.
