An Apple a Day Keeps the Pencil and Paper Away
Help me give my students 2 iPads in order to help introduce the to technology at a young age! This will encourage independent work time to assess their skills, and reinforced learned skills in all subject areas!
Hello! I have a total of 24 students who are eager to learn! I teach in an urban area in Northern New Jersey. My students enjoy working in small group centers, and with a variety of technology. Not only are they mastering the Kindergarten standards, but also becoming independent, hard working, individuals.
My students are motivated and interested in learning.
They come to school each day with a smile on their face, and an open mind. Please help make their technology dreams come true!
My students work in centers daily, for both Math and ELA. They LOVE center time, especially when it is their group working on the iPads.
What they don't love are the outdated, and always broken iPads we currently have.
New iPads will increase their work time, and assessment levels. They will be able to practice their sight words, read various books, and practice their skills through various apps. Not only will they be practicing and mastering skills, but they will independently be uploading and saving their work for their teachers and parents to see. I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces!
