My Students

Are you a fan of the latest technology? First grade students are too! Help support my students' love for technology by helping us provide Apple technology in our reading and math lessons in the classroom.

My students are energetic and active six and seven year olds who are excited to learn new things.

The kids love reading stories and participating in hands-on activities that support their learning. More than anything, they love to play games - unknowingly ones that help support their learning in the classroom. They grow through experiencing hands-on situations and are eager to become knowledgeable with technology-based learning.

My Project

In our classroom, as with any, almost are lessons are differentiated to meet individual student needs. I have requested an iPad that my students can use for centers that will provide educational, differentiated review of phonics, reading, and math skills. Using tablet technology will not only allow learning to come alive, but it also can be adjusted to a child's learning level and needs. Each student will be able to read stories, play learning games, and use the Internet to research and learn about topics that interest them.

Technology is the future.
