Help me give my students a good Holiday Celebration! For some of my students, this may be the only gift that they will receive. This will help to build a good relationship with my students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello, I have amazing students in my class! I am a first-grade teacher. My students are amazing, intelligent, and energetic. I work at a school in a low-income community but my students don't let that be a barrier for them. Although parental involvement is low, I try to motivate the students to continuously try their best. I love my students' persistence. They push themselves and motivate each other to keep trying until they achieve their goals.
My Project
My students know that doing a good job and following the rules can be rewarded with positive incentives. I would love to be able to provide my students with a wonderful holiday party and give them each a gift as a reward for their wonderful job this first half of the school year. For some of my students, this may be the only gift that they will receive. I would like to use this as a way to build their self-esteem and reassure them that someone loves and cares about them. They are mini-inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and teachers. They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long, successful career. Any donation is appreciated and loved!
