My Students

In a small suburb of Houston, you will find our school filled with an incredibly diverse group of students. The students are from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds and ethnicities. With over 14 languages spoken at the school, it is no wonder that some of the students are bilingual, in a dual language program or are learning English.

Despite the differences at the school, all the students share a love for hands-on learning and technology.

They are my present and America's future.

My Project

By providing my classroom with a variety of marble run projects and games, you are allowing the tactile and visual learners to experience logical thinking, problem solving, and personal skills in a safe and structured environment. While it may seem simple, some students are intimidated by computers and need to practice these skills with something more tactile. Other students may love working with computers but need to physically touch the items in order to truly understand how to make a system work. All learners (young, old, shy, tactile, visual and concrete) can learn a lot from the variety of marble runs that your donations will provide.
