My students need seven Kids First Engineering Kits so they can work with a buddy to begin building and creating the skills necessary for strong STEM projects.

My Students

My classroom is made of up of students who are looking to gain the necessary skills to help them be successful in the years ahead. A smaller group of students in my classroom allows me to give them the extra attention that they need to build these skills.

High energy, inquisitive minds, hands on learners, busy bodies; these are just a few ways that you could describe my students.

My students love to have hands-on interactions with whatever we are working on. Working while our hands are busy gives us the opportunities to make great gains in our academics!

My Project

Who does not love amusement parks? With these Kids First Amusement Park Engineer kits, my students will get to create rides from the ground up. Included in these kits is a book that students will be able to listen to and then create their rides along the way to fit with the story. 20 different models will be able to be created!

Every subject is touched upon in one little box!

Reading, math, science, and even art will be worked on as students make their way through this project. This will be a fun way for them to work on fine motor skills, listening comprehension, visual/spatial relationships, science and math vocabulary, and of course reasoning skills.

In my classroom, when students feel like they are just playing, they are actually doing some of the best learning!
