My Students

We are trying to overhaul our media center and update it to a "Learning Commons" with a Makerspace at the center. Makerspaces are places where kids can design, build, code, create and "make" things! We need supplies that will allow our students the freedom to think outside the box to dream and to be inspired.

My students are amazing learners who love technology and the creativity that it allows!

They are trying to become future-ready by studying not just reading, math, writing, science, and social studies, but also engineering, art, coding, robotics, website design, and more!

My Project

Public speaking is tough for all kids, but especially for middle school students, who are easily embarrassed. They are reluctant to speak in large groups, and when they do, they often mumble. The Qball is a throwable wireless microphone designed for audience participation. The Qball is plug-and-play with our existing speaker system.

Any microphone would greatly improve the student discussion capabilities for my classes, but a QBall throw-able microphone would definitely encourage my students to speak up and speak out in a fun, interactive, and engaging way!
