This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a preschool special education classroom in an urban public school district. My students are three, four, and five years old.
They are wonderful, caring, beautiful, and smart.
They will be successful in whatever they set their minds to. We are located in such a low-income area; all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
These items will help our students with their gross motor skills for their after-school sports activities. Our students really enjoy doing activities in our gross motor classroom and during our physical education sessions. These items will help to build our students confidence and help to condition them for their field activities. The sensory balls will help with our students with Autism build their sensory issues and it will help them to focus on the task at hand. The soccer ball and other outdoor activity balls will be helpful for our soccer teams resources.
