My Students
My school is mostly and center in a curriculum where arts are infused. My students come from low-income families and arts is a good way to engage and canalize their energy and feelings. My students are inventive and playful and art will be the spice to our lessons. My students will develop their art skills and will create much different reading-art work.
The students will be able to show other classes their art and take it home to show their excellent project in class.
My Project
These materials will continue to enhance the resource-rich classroom that I strive to create. My class is a place where the students can let their imagination fly. The students will enjoy trying new learning styles.
They will discover new talents and gifts just by letting their imagination travel and create art in their lessons at the same time they are learning.
For example, after reading a Fable the students will create a book or a portrait of one of the characters. My students' self-esteem will increase and will teach them the independence to work as a team where they can share knowledge.
