I teach STEM to all 80 of the third graders in my school. They come into my classroom once each week and get to experiment, build, and work in teams to create and learn together. My students learn that it is okay to make mistakes and that they can adapt and become better when they have the determination to work through problems. My classroom is a place where students learn to collaborate, think, problem solve, and adapt as needed in order to complete our objectives. These materials will allow us to have additional resources in the classroom to push thinking and creating to the next level!

This project will provide resources for my students to learn through new games and activities. We will play math games this semester to help with automaticity and math fluency. The dominoes and flashcards will allow students at all levels of learning to participate in math activities. We will use tape measures and clothes pins to practice multiplying and dividing into equal groups. Card stock will allow me to create more games and flashcards for classroom use. We will have a marble run challenge in STEM where students need to create a marble run that takes exactly 6 seconds for the marble to complete the course
