This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The students have been working hard to earn teachers' respect and recognition and deserve to be rewarded. Through out the years the children have been awarded Leadership chips every time a teacher has witnessed a child doing a good deed or doing a task that shows exceptional leadership skills. These recognitions may be identified as cleaning up a mess that is not theirs or helping another student carry their books. These treats such as chips, candy, and drinks allow teachers to let students cash in their hard-earned leadership chips for great snacks. Every child deserves to be recognized for their hard work and these treats will allow for that to happen.
