Help me give my students a chance to read some amazing books. We have a variety of reading levels in our classroom so the classroom reading packs will give us a great variety of high interest books.
I am teaching an energetic and creative team of third graders this year. I want to teach them the importance of reading in the world around them and create an appealing environment for their learning. Since many students are very energetic and struggle with focus issues, I want their classroom space to include amazing and captivating books where they will want to take chances and learn new things. Also, over half of the students in our school come from low income households so I want to give them every opportunity I can to become engaged in learning.
Reading is a fundamental part of life and I want all of my students to remember third grade as an exciting time of reading adventures.
My Project
Students in my classroom are high energy students who sometimes have difficulty with reading. We have a variety of reading levels in our classroom so these books would help meet the individual reading needs of each student. It will also help them build reading stamina.
The class book sets will help us offer a variety of exciting books for students to read each day.
Students will get to use the books for read aloud time, small groups and for independent reading. This project will help us build some lifelong reading skills and create an engaging reading space for each student.
