My students are eager to learn and want to be engaged. The more they are up and about, the more engaged they become. They are creative, imaginative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are. We continue to build an amazing classroom community and we are excited to keep the magic in our class!
My Project
Reading is so much fun in second grade. Strategies have been taught, practiced, and hopefully mastered by the second grade. Now is the time to apply all these skills that students have worked so hard to learn. It is time to make reading fun and engaging for everyone. This project will allow students to love reading and demonstrate their skills as they share books and activities with their classmates.
Families and teachers work so hard with their students to build strong reading foundations and now it is time to enjoy the fruits of our labors.
Allowing my students to have physical books in their hands to read with their buddies make reading more engaging. Having the opportunity to look at colorful pictures and grade level books will help them with their reading strategies in an exciting way.
