Help me give my students some new math station activities. My students are learning how to add, compare numbers and subtract. These new hands-on activities would really help my students learn these new skills!
I am a Kindergarten teacher. I love working with this age group and watching them explore, learn and begin to love school. Our school is a Pre-kindergarten through 4th grade building. Over half of my kids qualify for free or reduced-price lunches this year. My students are very eager to learn and learn best with hands-on activities. I strive to provide great materials that will encourage my students to want to learn. My students develop ownership and respect for their classroom and the materials they use in the room.
Each year, I strive to build a strong connection with my students and their families.
I feel it is so important that my students and families feel that they belong and can come to me with anything. My students leave each year feeling that they were part of our "Kindergarten family."
Each project donated to our classroom will truly help the students' learning process and will provide new and exciting tools to keep them engaged in the learning process. Thank you so much for considering a donation to my students. We greatly appreciate you!
My students need new hands-on math activities. Our class is working on number sense, addition and subtraction skills. The activities I choose will help the students have a better understanding the math skills that we are learning about.
My students will use these independent activities during their math station times.
During this time, I am able to meet with all my students in small groups to better meet the needs of all my students.
Imagine a classroom full of energetic 5- and 6-year-old children getting to work hands-on with counting, addition and subtraction skills. The activities are brightly colored, allow the children to self-check their work and give simple directions that the students will be able to follow. All these hands-on activities will help engage my students in the learning process.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our project!
