My Students

One of the best things about my district (and school) is its diverse population. Countries and cultures from around the world come together here. While rich in heart and history, many families struggle to provide the best for their children.

For many students, school is their safe place and I want them to enter the classroom and have everything they need to learn, explore, and have fun.

Help me and my students gather the tools necessary to fully access our learning and unlock our potential.

My Project

I need two large rugs for my classroom. The floors are old, hard, and uninviting. I also like to offer flexible seating choices so students can do their best work. Rugs offer a sense of comfort that often lacks for these kiddos at home.

It's amazing how a nice, bright rug can create feelings of potential and happiness.

The world can be dark and cold, but a classroom shouldn't be. Please help me give my students a space that truly feels like a home away from home. It will do more than you realize.
