This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need a computer for our assessments. We only have one computer in the classroom. This computer is old and cannot be moved from where it is. This makes it a bit uncomfortable to give the exams to students. Most student assessments are computer-based. Sometimes we are in our rotations and we cannot use the computer so as not to interrupt our routine.

Another thing is that you cannot move the computer from the desk because you need a cable to connect to the internet and this makes the administration of the exam a bit difficult since children need to do the exam on the computer independently.

If they're using the only computer in the room, we can't see our books for shared reading, we can't project the books, sing songs, or watch videos. This is why your donation would help us make the exam period easier and more bearable for students.
