Help me give my students access to the art supplies they need. The water colors will be used weekly during art projects that are inspired by our favorite books.
My students are amazing young people! They deserve the best education possible. I want to create a classroom full of hands on learning experiences. Everyday is a new adventure!
The students on my class come to school full of questions and ready to learn.
They like to learn new things. They are engaged when they can feel, touch and manipulate their surroundings. Our school is a wonderful and welcoming place for all. We serve children from all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. We have a growing number of students who are learning English. I strive everyday to make our classroom feel like home to all and create true learning experiences for every child.
My Project
The 6 and 7 year old that fill my classroom everyday are amazing young artist. They love to express themselves and explore different mediums. I want to give my kids access to art materials beyond just the crayons they use everyday.
Every week we create an art project that goes along with what we are studying.
I love to lets the kids get messy with paint and markers and really explore. I love watching how the kids can connect with what we are learning about in literature or science through art.
Donations to this project will directly impact the kids in my class on a daily. They will be able to use the new scissors everyday and we will use the markers and paint every week. I can't wait to see their faces light up when we open boxes of brand new art supplies.
