My Students

My students are an absolute joy to be with! Smart, funny, and always on the go would be the best way to describe them. Never a dull moment in our classroom and each student is as unique as the next.

My Project

Even with virtual learning, finding, building, and supplying lessons for the students to do is a struggle. Activities that I can do with them at school might not be the best or most appropriate for me to ask their parents to do with them. In every lesson I supply at home, I try to make it the easiest on the parent as possible. Right now, we are in a combination of virtual days and in person days. For me as a teacher, this means double, triple, quadruple the amount of work in finding the perfect lessons. I need to create lessons that I can do with them virtually (as independently as possible), lessons for the parents to be able to assist them with on their own time, and lessons for us to do in person when at school. For many of my students, repetition is key, so we do reuse some of the lessons, however, it doesn't take long to exhaust through a stack of resources that are readily available. Teachers Pay Teachers is a great source of materials that I am able to find and use on many different platforms!
