The students in my class are high energy and have an excitement for knowledge. All of my students have fun, unique personalities that shine through in their love for academics. Each and every one of my students works extremely hard to set and achieve academic goals. Our school provides the students with rigorous curriculum that enhances their knowledge and awareness.

My Project
My students are looking to expand our book club library and engage in higher level texts. It is so important to expose students to higher level texts that push their thinking and conversational skills. These book titles are top picks that students have identified as high interest! They would love to see these books in our library!
Book clubs are a beautiful way for students to participate, facilitate, and engage in in depth conversations about the different social issues that are present within their texts.
Book clubs provide the opportunity for students to fall in love with reading, to become lost in the literacy world. I am so excited to see the thoughts and questions that the students create from their reading!
