Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are enthusiastic and ready to learn. I have a group of inquisitive busy fifth graders with a variety of abilities and interests. My students always give their best efforts. They enjoy school to the fullest each and every day.
I hope to be able to provide them with everything they need to have a successful year.
Our school is in an impoverished area of Southern California. While we do the best we can with what we have, once in a while, we need to ask for a little help, especially during the pandemic.
My Project
I hope to get planners for my students to use while learning from home. Virtual learning is not easy for children. In this difficult situation, I hope to relieve some of their stress with these planners. The planners will help keep students organized and on task with what they need to be doing at any given time.
While learning from home, students can use the planners to track their daily and weekly assignments in all subject areas.
I want to make it as easy as possible for them so that they can focus all their energy on the subject matter. This will also help with differentiation, as all students will not have identical assignments in every subject. With planners, I believe my students will have a better chance for success!
