Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the greatest group of five and six year-olds. With high energy levels and enthusiasm, my class always comes to school so eager to learn. My class is very diverse with some families being more fortunate than others. The twenty-five students in my class have varying walks of life, but together, we have created one community. Kindergarten is often my students' first year of school. It is so crucial to build their excitement toward learning and encourage them to achieve great things in the classroom.
Not only do I have some of the greatest students, but I am fortunate to work with some of the most amazing teachers!
Each teacher is so unique with their own flair for education. Together we are an unstoppable force ready to change the world one student at a time!
My Project
Have you ever started reading a book you just couldn't put down? A book so engaging you felt that you just had tell others just how amazing it was! That's exactly what educators have said about The Wild Card. This book is one that inspires educators to become the Wild Card of education. The person who engages all learners and provides them with life-changing experiences that help to craft little minds.
Having 10 copies of this book would allow me to facilitate a book study among teachers at my school.
This would allow exceptional teachers an opportunity to come together to create a path for taking their craft to the next level.
