My students are from a rural area. Classroom funds are very limited and we would love to be able to move while we learn! Flexible seating choices are essential for students to be able to move around and concentrate to do their best! I want to create an environment where students feel comfortable to learn and move as they need. Students deserve to be able to have a choice when it comes to their education. Alternative seating would allow my students to move around and choose how they work throughout the day.
My Project
These standing desks and wobble stools will give my students choices for learning. They will be able to choose a space that they are comfortable with to do their best throughout the day! I believe all students can learn, in their own way! Every child is different so why shouldn’t their learning styles be? I have several students that currently choose not to use a chair, but they have to bend over their desks to work, so the standing desks will be perfect for them to be able to work without hurting their backs. The wobble stools will allow students to move as they work as well!
