My students need alternative seating as some students need movement to focus and we need them to be able to move without adding noise which distracts other students. Also, the filter for lighting would be calming.
My students are in need of some alternative seating to help them remain focused in their learning. Many of my students are restless and have trouble focusing while seated. We are in great need of an alternative seat for them, such as a standing desk. We are a title one school and over 50% of our students come from low socioeconomic households. I want to show those students they can rise out of their economic situational status and become successful, independent, and responsible citizens. Anything you could donate towards my students receiving these standing desks would be greatly appreciated!! We could also use lots of pencils too! Thank you so very much!
My Project
With the Alphabetter Stand-Up Desk with Swinging Footrest Bar, students will have alternative positions to do their assignments and participate in class. I believe we will see major improvements in participation and comprehension.
The stand-up desk with swivel footrest will be of such great use in my classes and several of my students could perform much better!
The tranquil blue light filters will give a calmness to the harsh fluorescent lighting which many times is overly stimulating for my Autistic students and causes them stress, which is adverse to their learning.
The balance Ball and flexible seating will provide alternative seating to students who have ADHD, ADD, or autism an opportunity to learn by focusing more; being able to get out some of their need to move without distracting others.
All children are different, no two learn exactly the same.
