Hi! Thank you for your interest in helping my students! Here at our school, we cater to a very unique group, as each and every one of the students here are on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP for short). This means that there is a specific reason that each of my students finds school to be more challenging than a typical child their age.
Our students conquer a variety of challenges every day, including Autism, Dyslexia, Auditory and Visual Processing Disorders, ADD and ADHD.

My Project
At our school, we focus on making the academic challenges that our students face as minimal as possible so that they can enjoy the same education as any other student. Because our children battle learning disabilities of many shapes and sizes, there are many ways in which we can change the environment around them to minimize their struggle and emphasis their ability to learn.
One of the best ways we can accommodate our students needs for a structured but inviting environment is by providing them with a comfortable, flexible, group orientated seating arrangement.
The tables and chairs that your donations will purchase will allow these students to work both collaboratively and independently as needed, as well as allow them to sit in a way that is comfortable and does not feel overly confining.
