My Students

Many of our students come from all over the world. This is their third year in school and they are building friendships everyday. The classroom becomes a place for them to form a learning family in so many new ways. We are excited to be learning new things everyday!

Our school is in Nevada.

We have a high population of second language students that come from low income families. Our goal is to lay the foundation for our students to become awesome learners. With this foundation they will continue to grow and be able to be successful in school. With your help, we will continue to be able to grow and learn in new ways!

My Project

These items will make a difference to our students by providing them with the ability to have different seating choices to use in the classroom. They will also be using Chromebooks every day that need headphones. These items will help create fun learning through choices and technology.

In the classroom, it is important to provide students with new innovative ideas.

By providing them with seating choices they will enjoy learning and working on independent activities from reading to group work. Students will also enjoy taking time to read in the zebra tent. With computers with headphones, they will experience listening to learning games and videos without interrupting other students learning.
