My Students

My school serves a community with extremely low socioeconomic status. We are in a spread-out rural area, where just getting our kids to school is half the battle. Even with these challenges, our kids are growing and learning every day!

We are committed to making sure that every kid feels successful in school and performs to the best of their ability.

We do this through love, consistency, and support. Sometimes we just need a little help to make that happen.

My Project

My students will use all of these supplies every single day! Ask any teacher you know and they will tell you that pencils disappear like magic, and dry erase markers are left without lids.

I am requesting these supplies because I know that my students will greatly benefit from having access to these basic items like pencils and crayons.

I teach in a resource room and my students don't bring in supplies to use in my classroom, so what little stash I had saved up is quickly dwindling. Pencils, dry erase markers, and crayons are used every single day by at least 40 kids, so they don't last very long!

I have also added to my wish list some engaging activities to do with my students who are still learning the alphabet. When working with five-year-olds, you have to make it interesting. These games will help them be interested in what they are learning. Thank you so much for your donation!
