I am one of 4 teachers that teach second grade to a group of 100 students at a Title I school in a rural community. Our students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.
Ours students are full of energy and love coming to school!
Our goal is to keep this excitement going throughout the day! Our school serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment.
The interactive science park at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC, includes a two-story science center, one of the largest butterfly conservatories on the East Coast and beautifully landscaped outdoor exhibits which are safe havens for rescued black bears, lemurs, and endangered red wolves.
Our second graders will be exposed to over 84-acres of outdoor exhibits and over 60 species of live animals, there is always more to explore.A visit with the Museum of Life and Science is anything but ordinary.
These programs are designed specifically for our second grade students to have hands-on learning experiences.
