This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have the best 5th graders! My students love to learn as much as I love to teach! We have been having a great time getting to know one another while engaging in great activities to master important skills.
I work in a neighborhood school, which serves students in Pre-K through 5th grade.
One of the things that I love about the school is that it is so culturally diverse. The students and I enjoy learning about the customs and cultures of others. We are looking forward to an awesome school year!
My Project
StoryWorks magazines have been a staple in my classroom for the last few years. I absolutely love the stories and that has passed on to my students every year! There are videos with many of the stories, rich vocabulary lessons, grammar activities, and writing. What more could a teacher ask for!
These engaging articles allow the students read fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama all in one place!
It's an all inclusive resource because it meets the needs of all learners. There are several activities that go with each story that focus on specific skills. My students are engaged, thinking, and always want to read more!
