This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a vocal music teacher in a diverse multicultural high school in Nevada. Our Choir performs many times during the year on our Theater Stage. The stage is a flat surface which makes it difficult for all of the students to be seen while performing. At times there are over 100 students on stage at performing. Thanks to a generous donation last year, we were able to purchase almost a complete set of platforms and supports. However, to finish the set we are still in need of 2 more decks to allow us to have a complete 3 level platform unit across the entire stage.

Your donations will not only help us create additional flexible staging for our various groups during performances but it would ensure that every student will be seen.
