My Students
Our students are so eager to learn each day. They come to school knowing that they are cared about and are going to have a good experience. We are a Title 1 school with 66% of our students receiving free or reduced lunches and 40% as ELL students.
Hands on learning is the best way for a young child to understand the world around them.
When we learn about the world around us in multiple applications it allows us to see that our lives and our families may be different but we can all work together and help the community.
My Project
Hands on learning is a great education tool for children, so is learning though games. We want them to discover the abilities they have in their little hands.
Puzzles offer great spacial reasoning and the topics encourage empathy.
As a classroom we encourage a learning that is focused on what you can do and accomplish with what is available to you. Sometimes that is your own two hands and amazing mind.
Figuring out a puzzle gives the children a sense of excitement and a confidence boost that radiates through them. The topics of the puzzles show them what they can accomplish in their life and how families come in all shapes and sizes.
