Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are so excited to be back to school. Last year was very difficult with virtual learning but we were able to create an awesome morning show despite the trials and tribulations of technology and remote learning! We would love to continue this with some upgraded equipment!

My Project

With these items students will be able to research, write, edit, film, produce and enhance news stories that are relevant to their lives. The iPad will make it so that students can film their news stories and edit them as necessary. The green screen and lights will allow them to add a creative touch to their recording and give the production a professional feel. Their broadcast will reach out entire district!

The skills my students will gain in research, writing, and technology will not compare to the confidence they will build within themselves.
