My Students

My students are curious, enthusiastic, and ready to learn! We are a K-3 self-contained classroom that serves students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.

My students absolutely love hands-on, multi-sensory learning experiences that allow them to explore academic and life skills concepts in a variety of ways.

We offer a welcoming and safe place for students to try new things. From academics like reading and math to daily living and social skills, we truly do it all!

My Project

All That & A Bag Of Chips: CAES Snack Cart

Help me give my students the opportunity to open a class business - a snack cart for teachers and staff!

Our goal is to open a snack cart to practice number/money identification, sequencing, reading comprehension, writing, working with others, social skills, and life skills. They will practice greeting customers, navigating through the hall safely, taking inventory of our snacks, fulfilling and delivering orders to the wonderful teachers and staff at CAES. The more engaging and interactive activities are, the more my students enjoy learning and strive to complete tasks independently.

All money collected will go towards buying more inventory for our cart or fun items for our classroom!
