In the 2017-2018 school year our school will put on its second Jr. Broadway production - Seussical Jr. The project is part of our school's enrichment program which offers students a variety of extracurricular activities on Friday mornings at school. The students who participate in the Jr. Broadway enrichment will work the entire year toward the end product, which is two to four performances of the musical. For this year's performance we rented eight headset microphones for the characters to wear. Moving forward we would like to have our own in-house set of microphones.
Our ultimate goal of eight microphones would impact the entire student body, because they could be used in grade level productions as well!
Throughout the year there are several opportunities for students to get on stage and perform. From grade level programs to the talent show R. L. students love the opportunity to shine and share!
My Project
This is round two of our attempts to attain eight new microphones that can be used in the various programs and show presented at R. L Elementary. Our first project was funded within the first couple of weeks. That was AMAZING! A giant thanks to all those who made it possible. As we move into this second phase, please don't feel pressured to give again, but do share our goal with any of your friends and family who may want to assist us as we improve the sound equipment at our school.
At R.
L. we are achieving magnificent things within the music program. Our students love the opportunity to perform and share their musical abilities. With every additional sound system item we add, students have that much easier of a time performing. Let's make this another super funded project as we imagine what our kids can achieve next!
