My Students
My students are creative and eager to learn! They are sixth graders at a Title I school with almost 70% on free and reduced lunch. My students are in their last days of elementary school. Next year, MIDDLE school! I want to prepare them well for that experience.
My goal is to build and keep a love of learning so that my students will be lifelong learners.
I am a lifelong learner and I want them to never abandon learning new things.
My Project
Get Your Teach On is a conference that will provide me with a fabulous opportunity of professional growth to learn from some of the best of the best! During the conference, there are several research based break-out sessions for literacy and math strategies that are hands-on and engaging. I will have the opportunity to collaborate with attendees of the conference from across the world to share ideas and strategies to help each student in my classroom be the best they can be.
My goal as an educator is for my students to become lifelong learners.
The Get Your Teach On methods help me help students become just that because of the levels of engagement they will encounter in my class. Students will be excited about learning!
