My students need these seven CD sets of hands-on interactive materials in science, math, vocabulary and language arts to reinforce skills learned in the classroom.

I teach an awesome group of students.
My students are from low income families and attend a large school. Our school is a Title 1 urban school. Most of our students come from homes without access to technology. My students are very eager to learn and have fun in the classroom. At our school the administrators believe it's important to teach our students in a technology rich environment. However, with such a large population (nearly 1,100 students) it is difficult to keep every classroom up to date with current technology.
My Project
The math, science, language arts and vocabulary CD resources I am requesting are seven interactive learning software programs to reinforce skills learned in the classroom. We have access to document cameras and projectors. As a grade level team we have pooled resources to purchase the document cameras we use. These resources make learning fun and school should be fun. However, the problem is that our desktop computers do not have any software for the students to use to reinforce learning. With the interactive software students will be able to learn in a way that interests them, a way that is video and media-based. The purchase of this software would have an impact on the students I have now. It also helps me in my role as an educator by increasing my efficiency and ability to have centers-based learning experiences.
My students need these interactive software to use on the computer which will support the curriculum through technology use in the classroom.
Our current computers do not have any educational software and is only used for the Internet and research right now.
