Help me give my students access to digital and online resources using Kindle Fires.

My students are an awesome, creative, intellingent group that includes African-Americans, Caucasians, Asians, and Hispanics. My school is a Title One School in a suburban neighborhood. The demographics of my school include about 55% Black, 40% White, and 5% other. They are excited to learn new things and tackle many, varied, and unusual challenges. My students become part of the school family we create and I refer to them as, "family."I can't wait to see where our learning adventure will take us this school year.
How do you feel when you cannot find your phone or the WIFI is not working? We feel lost, dazed, and even confused. . Technology has become an integral part of today's society. We use technology for almost everything, including recipes, maps, and even the correct spelling of words. Teachers use some form of technology every day, our students need this same availability.
My classroom is in need of access to technology.
We are required to use technology in our teaching of academic subject areas. These Kindle Fires will be used to access a variety of technology and web based resources. They can also be used for reading E versions of fifth grade novels.
My students have so much potential and I know the Kindle Fires will allow them to become what our society needs-productive, problem solvers who will be an asset to any work force.
