My Students

My class is made up of 21 energetic and kind-hearted second graders. We love to be active and show our individuality through creativity. We are fortunate in our district to have 1:1 devices to supplement our learning materials, and we work hard to take care of these.

My Project

In our district we are fortunate to have 1:1 student iPads. Students bring these back and forth each day from home to school. Sometimes students are not able to charge their device at home, and need an efficient way to do so at school. These charging stations will serve as both a way to keep their devices charged, but also to keep them neat and organized.

Our current system is an unorganized mess of cords that is inefficient and can pose safety issues.

Organization is critical in any classroom. Charging stations allow students to be more independent in handling and caring for their device while in the classroom.
