I have an amazing group of third graders. They are inquisitive and high-achieving 3rd graders that are well on their way to gaining the 21st-century skills that they'll need to be successful in our complex world.

We focus on the multiple intelligences and strive to allow our students to show what they know in many different ways. We provide our students with specialty classes that reach all parts of the multiple intelligences.
My Project
My students are so excited about flexible seating options in my classroom. Kids are busy bees and need movement for their growing minds to stay focused and productive. Flexible seating options fill this need and make learning fun and exciting each and every day. We are excited about adding exercise balls and stadium seats to our classroom. This will give my students a variety of seating to choose from to make learning more comfortable and meaningful. Who doesn't like choices and can honestly say that sitting in a hard plastic chair all day is the best way to stay focused? It is time that we give our students the same options that we like for ourselves. My students are smart, inquisitive, funny, and just down right awesome. It is neat to watch them explore my room and figure out what tools make learning more meaningful for them. Picking a seat should be no different.
